Computer Science at Mesa State

Welcome to Computer Science.  Our department goal is to ensure a high quality and up-to-date curriculum, with a student to teacher ratio that is vastly beneficial to students. Students are able to receive individual attention directly from their professors.

We offer a wide variety of courses, and are in the process of building new innovative computer laboratories which are crucial to our programs.  Students have opportunities to work on research projects involving Computer Science. These projects give the students ability to transcend the boundary between theory and practice.

If you are wondering what you can do with a Computer Science degree, there are several career options available to you. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Computer Science occupations are projected to grow more than twice as fast as the average for all other occupations.

Mesa State Computer Science Degree programs help students become outstanding professionals who contribute in many ways to the information society that forms the backbone of industry and business in our world today.
