Our backyard is a haven for outdoor recreation including hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking, rafting, and snowboarding-with Aspen, Telluride, and Moab all just a short drive away.
And things don't slow down on campus. We've built new athletic fields, new classroom buildings and we're underway building a phenomenal new recreation center that will have the only competition fifty-meter indoor swimming pool in Western Colorado.
If you like a little play mixed in with your academics, look no further. We're developing new sports programs including lacrosse, cycling, skiing, hockey, and rodeo to go along with our 19 NCAA Division II intercollegiate teams, an extensive intramural program, and more than 80 clubs and organizations.
