Accepted types of identification include government issued passports, driver’s license, state identification cards or a military ID. MAVcards will not be issued without proper identification and validation of the student being registered for classes (Registered exceptions made only during New Student Orientations).
Students, faculty, and staff should be prepared to have their picture taken. Hats or other particles that hide or obscure the students facial identity is not permitted to be used in the photo. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible to receive a MAVcard. Concurrent/Fast-Track students are eligible for cards and the cost is $15.
The MAVcard has many purposes and allows students, faculty, and staff access to the:
Payment convenience at several campus departments with an Flex Account deposit
Students must be admitted to MSC and enrolled in the current semester before a MAVcard can be issued and validated.

Mesa State College degree-seeking students, Concurrent, Fast-Track, faculty, and staff are eligible to receive an official MSC campus ID card.
