MAVcard Office

The Mesa State MAVcard is the official student ID at Mesa State College. Students need to to be registered for classes in the current semester and present an valid, government issued identification in order to be eligible for a MAVcard. Faculty and Staff must present an official College check-in sheet and valid, government issued identification to be issued a card.

Accepted types of identification include government issued passports, driver’s license, state identification cards or a military ID. MAVcards will not be issued without proper identification and validation of the student being registered for classes (Registered exceptions made only during New Student Orientations).MAVcard

Students, faculty, and staff should be prepared to have their picture taken. Hats or other particles that hide or obscure the students facial identity is not permitted to be used in the photo. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible to receive a MAVcard. Concurrent/Fast-Track students are eligible for cards and the cost is $15.

The MAVcard has many purposes and allows students, faculty, and staff access to the:

  • Library
  • Recreation Center
  • Campus Dining Outlets with meal plans
  • Payment convenience at several campus departments with an Flex Account deposit

  • Mesa State College athletic events
  • After hours Academic facility entrance
  • Residence Hall entrance

You can now make your deposit for your MSC MAVcard Flex Account online! No phone calls, no waiting in line, just click https://secure.touchnet.com/C21035_ustores/web/index.jsp to get started. Remember you can use your Flex Account @ the Bookstore, Pay to Park parking machines, the Business Office, MAVprint, and Tomlinson Library. In addition to on campus dining locations, MAVmoney is accepted at Pita Pit, Main Street Bagels @ NASH, Aldo's Pizza, J's Philly Steaks, and Juice Junction in the Hamilton Rec Center for food purchases.

The MAVcard can also be linked to a free Wells Fargo College Checking® account

Students must be admitted to MSC and enrolled in the current semester before a MAVcard can be issued and validated.
