Registration Holds

To determine if you have any of the holds below, check out "View Holds" on the MAVzone Students tab. 

The holds must be cleared before you can register for classes.

Admissions Hold

Student must contact the Admissions Office, 1175 Texas Avenue, 248-1875.

Athletic Eligibility Hold

Student must contact the Athletic Department, Saunders 120, 248-1503, to register and adjust schedule

Advising Hold

Student must contact the Advising & Career Center, LHH 127, 248-1177.

Bad Address Hold

Student must provide current address. Contact the Registrar’s Office, LHH 121, 248-1555

Business Office Hold

Student must contact the Accounting Office, LHH 101, 248-1567.

College Opportunity Fund (COF) Hold

Student must follow the instructions in the hold. If the hold needs removed immediately, contact the Registrar’s Office, LHH 121, 248-1555.

Concurrent Student

Student must contact the Admissions Office, 1175 Texas Avenue, 248-1875.

English Hold

A student who has completed more than 60 hours of course work will not be permitted to enroll in any additional courses until he/she has registered at the Registrar’s Office for the appropriate English course as shown on the hold screen. Exceptions may only be granted by the English Department Head.

Financial Hold

Student must contact the Accounting Office, LHH 101, 248-1567.

HB1023 Proof of Citizenship By Colorado law, any student receiving a state benefit must show proof of U.S. Citizenship. Benefits include any Mesa State College scholarship or any tuition rate less than Western Undergadaute Exchange. Student must contact the Registrar's Office, LHH 121, 248-1555.

Incomplete File

Admissions documents have not been received. Student must contact the Admissions Office, 1175 Texas Avenue, 248-1875.

Math Hold

A student who has completed more than 60 hours of course work will not be permitted to enroll in any additional courses until he/she has registered at the Registrar’s Office for the appropriate Math course as shown on the hold screen. Exceptions may only be granted by the Math Department Head.

Medical Incomplete

By Colorado law, a student must have proof of two measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) shots. The second shot must be in the teenage years or more recent. Immunization records signed by a doctor's or appropriate health official must be provided. Student must contact the Registrar’s Office, LHH 121, 248-1855.

Registrar Hold

Student must contact the Registrar’s Office, LHH 121, 248-1555.

Registrar - Stop Out Update A student who has stopped attending for one semester (excluding summer) will need to contact the Registrar's Office to update general information prior to re-enrollment, LHH 121, 248-1555. A student who sits out more than one semester must fill out a Returning Student Application.

Selective Service Form

By Colorado law, a male student, age 18 or higher, must sign up for selective service prior to enrolling in college. Student must contact the Registrar’s Office, LHH 121, 248-1855.

Undeclared Major

Student must see the Advising & Career Center, LHH 127, 248-1177.
