MAVzone

     Registration Information

Step 1 - Go to the MAVzone login page

Step 2 - Enter your Mesa State College username and password.
Click on the "help" link if you need more information or assistance.

Step 3 - Click on the "Students" Tab

Step 4 - Look in the "Student Quick Links" section at the top of the first column for the service you are trying to access.

  • Complete steps 1-4 above to get to the MAVzone Students tab
  • Click on 'Look Up Classes'
  • Select the Registration Term and click Submit
  • Choose one or two search criteria.  For best results, leave fields blank or in the 'All' position unless you have specific needs.
  • Click on Class Search on the bottom of the page

  • Complete steps 1-4 above to get to the MAVzone Students tab
  • Click on 'Registration Status'
  • Select the Registration Term and click Submit

  • Click on 'View Holds'
  • For registration, pay attention to the holds the block Registration.

Helpful Hints

  • When adding a class with a lab, be sure to click both the class and the lab before clicking submit.
  • If registration errors occur, check out the Registration Errors Legend and Waitlist Information.
  • Check out the Important Dates page for Add, Drop, and Withdraw Deadlines.
  • Contact the Registrar's Office for further assistance if needed.
  • To waitlist for a class, you must learn the CRN number. 
    • Follow the Lookup Classes link above for instructions if needed.
    • Review other options to see if another class would fit your needs.
    • If you must waitlist, look in the 'WL Rem' column.  This displays how many seats are available on the waitlist.  If seats are available, write down the CRN for the course.
  • From the MAVzone Students Tab, select 'Add or Drop Classes'.
  • Enter the CRN in the blanks at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click on 'Submit Changes'.
  • Scroll to the course, change the Action to 'Waitlist'.
  • Click 'Submit Changes'.
  • Review your schedule to ensure you have been waitlisted for the class.

Waitlist Rules - Priority is given to students who:

  • Do not enroll in the same class at another time.  This causes a duplicate course error,
  • Do not enroll in any class that meets at the same time as the waitlisted course. This causes a time conflict..
  • Submit a Special Permission form to the Registrar's Office if there are issues classification, co-requisites, maximum hours, pre-requisites, and special permission.

If registration errors occur while attempting to enroll you in the course, your name will be removed from the waitlist and the next person on the waitlist will have the chance for the seat.

  • Complete steps 1-4 above to get to the MAVzone Students tab
  • Click on 'Add or Drop Classes'
  • Select the Registration Term and click Submit
  • Scroll to the course, change the Action to ' 'Web Drop Course'.
  • Click 'Submit Changes' at the bottom of the page.
  • Review your schedule to ensure the class was dropped and save a copy for your records.

  • Complete steps 1-4 above to get to the MAVzone Students tab
  • Click one of the schedules below
    • Concise Student Schedule - Shows the dates, times, building, instructors, and provides helpful details needed when purchasing your books.
    • Student Detail Schedule - Shows the same information as the concise student schedule plus more.
    • Student Schedule by Day & Time - Shows your schedule in weekly calendar format. Some classes may not appear if they are not offered during the week shown. Adjust the date range if needed.

Be sure to print your 'Concise Student Schedule' for your records.

“Exit” and close the browser for security and privacy.
